Lane Tool

The Lane Tool lets you fine-tune lane geometry on any spline-based road. It keeps lane borders aligned with the road while you add, resize, or remove lanes.

View Lane Borders​

Click the Lane Tool button.

  • Select a road spline to reveal draggable lane borders for every non-center lane.
  • The overlay updates automatically whenever lane information changes.

Add a Lane​

Click the Lane Tool button.

  • Hover a lane border until it highlights, then drag to widen or narrow the lane.
  • Release the drag to apply the change; you can undo the edit if you change your mind.
  • The map view refreshes as soon as the adjustment completes.

Remove a Lane​

Click the Lane Tool button.

  • Select the lane you want to delete so it becomes the active selection.
  • Press Delete. The tool only removes entities it understands, so other selections are ignored.
  • The lane disappears from the road, and the surrounding context updates to match.

Automatic Updates​

  • The tool keeps lane borders in sync while you work, so changes elsewhere update without reloading.
  • If a non-road object is selected, the tool prompts you to pick a road spline before editing.
